To me Dearden isnt a half, he is a running 5/8, if we sign him as 1/2 back wont work out.

- Kyle Flannagan may step up at 7 and Hunt to 6
- Manu - from the Rosters would be great at 1, 4, or 6

- Luki - from the Cowboys is still available
- Leilua - from the Cowboys is still available

- I agree Welsby is a long shot but he is still available and so, now that we have missed out on Dearden, we have a little extra cash to bring him over as a 1 or 6.

- And, AFB is at short odds to join us for 2024 on if we can provide the right players swap deal.

I don't see anyone challenging us for the spoon next year

Very unfortunate but some of us "can see clearly now" where we are heading.
We recruited a coach who supposedly had the ability to sign some top line players.
We have been all over the papers signing every one and the results so far have been bananas.
We all need to accept that this is a huge FAILURE and no excuses.
If you lose a two horse race then it's simple, you have finished LAST.

Let's not sugar coat this,quality recruitment is the important start to solving some of our problems and we just lost a two horse race for less money.
That's a disaster and a bad reflection on our ability to attract players
Top line coaches like Bellamy,Bennett,Cleary,Hasler,Robinson and about 11 others not so top line could get what they want .

It’s disappointing but let’s see how we go before waving the white flag.
When we beat the likes of Tigers, Dogs, Dolphins, with all their shiny new recruits, think about how satisfying that will feel?

Current roster wont trouble the top teams but we’ll do better than the bookies predict.

Sharks leagues club is Kareela golf club, it’s hardly appealing.
The new club won’t be built for ages, they’ve completely screwed themselves by selling the whole development to the developers. Now the leagues club is last priority in that build. It’ll be the shopping centre, appartments and everything else that gets built before the leagues club.
They made a huge error selling it for a cash grab.
