I haven’t gone off Dufty at all. His form over the last few weeks is down(confidence/fitness??). A decent coach would have identified that & put in place measures to deal with.
As for Dugan, I have no issue with him but Sharks supporters would gladly trade him to have kept Ramien & bring back Barba(if Holmes wants out to NQ).
Chances are they may have to let Holmes go given their latest saga.

Samy, is Herbert going to the warriors as rumoured, or is he still unsigned and we have not offered him a deal?

Also I heard that Sele was "promised" gallens lock role when he is gone in 2019...

As far as I know sele gone.
Herbert has been given a offer but has not signed yet.

I dont know where Herbwrt would fit in at the Warriors. Theh just re-signed Maumalo and Fusitua to long term deals, so wing is not an option. RTS is the fullback so thats not an option. Kata and Hiku are the centres.
With Perham as the next fullback and Beale and Ayshford as centres also, where doez he play?

Only, like LAM, goinv back to family may be the attraction but if he has 1st grade aspirations it doednt appear there are many there.

Given Dufty is up and down He would have more chance with us.
I hope we dont lose him.

There is an article in the Daily Telegraph right now titled Roosters circling Manly's Taupau, saying that it is likely Taupau quits Manly at the end of the season and signs with the Roosters.

I wonder if that will rule Pangai out for Easts or can they get both? lol

Oh well Ben Hunt is our new $1 mill a year hooker. Least if true he is not part of the old boys club. Least we will get change. Hope is better than what I have now, true or not.

I would be very surprised if we signed Walters to coach us. I think we would be looking for an experienced coach, preferably one who has coach a team to a premiership win.

Precisely.......

Walters would never leave.
I would never want him to leave.
Lovely gentleman but just a water carrier,

Just a offer so far. But if i was him no lewis next year he could be playing fg

If he goes there, I think Sele has had really bad advice. I don’t see how he can play wide, that would be Capewell, Nikora or Sorensen and they have two forwards there already waiting for Gallen to move on. Now it’s 2020, maybe.

There’s two players named Jack Williams there, the forward version looks a good prospect for the position.

Problems I see with Sele staying. If Mann was a bit bigger like Radley or Murray, I doubt many would be debating that positioning. I think it indicates the start of a shift in the lock position moving forward. I would like to see more of Ford and where he will progress towards, but in lieu of having a player like that I like De Belin and Frizell through the middle. Either at the same time or one replacing the other during the game. Sele is a bit too similar. Korbin Sims will change the dynamic also, but we don’t know exactly how they are thinking. It is crucial we play Host, Leilua and Lawrie to start to season. This doesn’t leave much room to move.

I think there are better team options for Sele when you look at starting lock opportunities. I’d be looking at somewhere where they had a couple of big props already and a hooker who defends well, because that would see him protected slightly as he gains experience and fixes his weaknesses.

Great summary .
I agree ford is one to look for next year but his time will be 2020 or 2021.
He only a kid has the right attitude and with another off season and 5kg he will be a weapon.
I can see what your saying re guys like radley .
They are the prototype 13 of the future.
Fast mobile with ball skills but still hit like a hammer
