Maybe in the past- but people grow and change and experience in a pressure position like no 7 is invaluable- what greater pressure is there in playing in a grand final and then the week after in a State challenge when he was imo man of the match on both occasions? He's worth a go at the very least.

PS- I would normally take Nathan Cleary if he was available in a heartbeat- but for mine , he was invisible and disappointing in the three test series against the poms. Apart from kicking on tackle 6, you would hardly have known he was on the field. He's a class act and will bounce back but all I'm saying is that even the very best find it hard to sustain a high level in a demanding position like No 7.
90% of the play from Grant went to Munster, even the kicks & on some cases Walsh.
The Queensland connection with Kevvie as coach & Tallis assistant.

Yes possm- like I needed Olivia Newton John when we were both teenagers- but it was never going to happen.
Did you try or just give up before talking to her?

In my early 20s, there were many absolutely stunning young ladies that I thought would be impossible to date, but surprisingly agreed to go with me.

And when it comes to business deals, often what appeared to be impossible, became a reality with good narative.

Surely we need to play the percentage game.

Ask enough Alpha Props to dance with us, eventually one will say yes.

I suppose it is easier for a female to pick up females if they both prefer females.

However, in my opinion, these days it is much easier for females to pick up maies.

Dont blame Black for leaving.. signing Pezet for 2027 was a pretty rough call.. maybe its the right one.. Pezet will be seasoned and ready by then to instantly replace Reynolds/Hunt.. but still a dog one given how long Black has been the star in their system.

Mind you I also dont understand how Canberra signed Ethan Sanders as their young star 7 who supposedly went there for a first grade position..... and yet Ricky has been trying to sign any man and his dog over the top of him..

He signed potential with Sanders- not tangible NRL experience. I'd say he's buying some insurance if Sanders can't cut the mustard.

2. SHANE FLANAGAN (Dragons)

Record
: Won 19, Lost 29, Drawn 0 (39.58%)

Analysis: The Dragons coach was bullish on his side’s chances last season, but despite some promising signs early, the club faded badly to finish third last in 2025. Part of that was down to a horror casualty ward, which severely tested their depth, especially in the forwards, but Flanagan has other areas in his squad he needs to improve. One is in the playmaking department, with Daniel Atkinson joining the club to fight it out with son Kyle and Lyhkan King-Togia for the halves spots. The Dragons have also struggled to recruit big name stars, especially in the forwards after making a play for Tino Fa’asuamaleaui. Flanagan has put his faith in his juniors, but if they don’t deliver in the near future, he is at risk of not being around to see his vision come to fruition. The Dragons desperately need some marquee signings if they want to push for the top eight and on their current roster, they are closer to the wooden spoon than their next title in 2026.

So begs the question why was he extended so early?

Except there will likely be weeks where our starting props will be Guler and Kerr and you won't need Willie Mason to tell you that's laughable.
The loss of JDB and Klem is huge. If we don't sign some big fullas we're in trouble.
Yeah.. you already know and can see from a mile away Flano's going to use Kerr incorrectly. He's not great, but if he's to be at all effective it's only going to be a 25-30 minute stint off the bench to provide some impact against tiring defences, preferably with Liddle going on at pretty much the same time to take advantage of Kerr's quick play the balls.

Instead, Flano will use him as a starter because he's a "big body" and then be left to wonder why it's not working. Tactically I find Flano is well off the pace, and he needs to change that.
