The latest news about how the Storm’s Chief Executive
had contacted someone at the NRL to ask that pressure be placed upon Parramatta so as they will release him and allow him to play for the Storm is nothing short of disgusting .

Talking about the NRL’s double standards - one rule for the money clubs and another for the have nots , duplicity and double dealing at it’s best .

Hopefully all will come out in court and the guilty parties will be run out of the game .

It just goes to show that the media-aligned clubs will get preferential treatment, every fxcking time. Corruption any way you look at it.

News on the inside from eels that a deal to allow lomax back in the nrl is that he will be on a possible swap deal with sloan .
Both clubs are in talks as Dragons released lomax to parra while he had 2 more years on his previous contract . But why we dont need more drama after hunt and lomax wanted out of the club still under contracts.
Would be a good deal only if we move on sloan for 2026.
Sounds like you are just making shit up

Yes- unfortunately yet more evidence that the Storm are a grubby outfit with an excessive sense of entitlement. Over the years, I've probably forgiven them for more than I should have because I could understand how important it was to have a successful NRL presence in AFL dominated Melbourne. I'd (almost) forgiven them for denying us our first JV premiership - no more.

If I didn’t know any better I would think that they were part of one of Trump’s overseas corporations . I believe his motto is - ‘ By hook or Crook - Success at all costs ‘ .

If you get a chance have a look at the try scored by Wests winger Tino Tavana vs Roosters - one of the games greatest ever tries!
Its something we need so badly.. wingers who can go vertical.. so many half opportunities are iced like that.. we usually dont even try so we dont risk going into touch.

I did see a kid in our flegg trial today who went vertical to score a try like it was nothing.. I will endeavour to find out who on earth he is! I want more of that...

Obviously SF and Co easily impressed by what happens at training if game day is any reflection of what they do.

Hopefully it’s only a rumour that he’ll stick with current training methods and his coaches pet selections.

@TheRev who was the tall blonde winger who played second half for cup, i assume flegg player?
Blonde? Oh right pretty sure that was 23. Tom Kirk, was on the fast track with Williams last year till he got hip dropped by this massive unit and did his acl.. not sure how much of a pre-season hes had.

Kirk is nrly 2m tall or something silly like that.

I thought one of the media ppl said Lomax was living in Melbourne.. maybe the wording was he was staying 'in' Melbourne.. which was outlandish if true given he had no certainty of contract.. living in he gong sounds more reasonable.. maybe hes staying with family? Did he move away when he went to parra? Who knows..
