You guys must believe in the tooth fairy too. Feagai over suli lmao.
When Suli got injured we didn't win another game that season, he adds a lot. I think people don't like him because of the comments he made about not wanting to be here when he left Manly but IMO his since let his footy do the talking he makes huge metres it's like having an extra forward out on the field.
He doesn't score many tries but neither did Darius Boyd and he was certainly no slouch.

There's no doubt Suli makes plenty of metres, he carries the ball strong, he is valuable to the team.
He is like having an extra forward but that's how he plays, like a back rower, but we have enough of them.

With his size and power he should be unstoppable within 10m out.
Yes Sloan probably scored most of his tries off a Suli pass where the centre and winger come in on Suli and Sloan is left unmarked. He also made a good run against the Bunnies running hard.

I just don't see that Suli demonstrates many skills of a centre, quality centres can create something out of nothing, a step, fend and offload, when was the last time he got around his opposite number.
How about in the air, attack or defense it's non existent.

His big and strong and actually bigger than half our forwards, but not sure he's a quick agile centre.

X2 ...... never steps , rarely makes a break , rarely scores a try , as you say he is like a back rower as is the Money man ...... The back line is definitely lacking genuine speed ....... If the team doesn't get over the halfway mark with at least 2 plays to go we never score , That's the Flanno coaching bash and barge one out stuff until we get into opposition quarter to try and attack and most of the time they are kicking on the 5th tackle on 50m mark ....... Need some players that can turn a game and can go 90m and score ....... Anyway that's my thoughts on the way the team plays and the type of player the Coach wants .......

Put Suli in other teams he does not get a run. His attack is rubbish. Teams have guys that make linebreaks every now and then not bash and barge. Feagai has given us Saints fans more highlights in his much fewer games than Suli (try against Broncos, winner against the chooks to give Ryan Carr his first NRL win etc). Can anyone remember a Suli try highlight in all these years? Suli simply does not score those tries Feagai did whereas what Suli does on the field I think Buchanan and Feagai can do as well. Buchanan's stats last week was 9 tackles no missed tackles to Suli's 9 tackles and 3 missed ones. Why not get players that add something extra in breaking a line every now and then to what Suli does who only managed 2 linebreaks all of 2025. His career best is 8 in 2024 but before that had 2 years of 5 linebreaks. In 2022 Feagain made 19 linebreaks. Last year he made 6. His first season he made 8 which is Suli's best in a year.

Compare that to someone like Katoni Staggs who made 26 linebreaks, 11 the year before, 14 previous year. Both you would think are similar type players and that is run hard.

That was a big part of the reason why the Rorters signed him from Cronulla a few years back , a reliable kicker , but the poor sod was released when Sam Walker appeared on the scene .

Wham - bam - thank you Kyle but we don’t need you any longer , that knocked the hell out of young Kyle’s confidence and he only regained it at the Dragons under the steadying hand of his father .

I am sure that until young Kade Reed has earned his stirrups that Kyle will continue with his tradesmen like performances for the Big Red V .

The title does not mean they are good at it.

Has anyone got any idea who we are filling the remaining 4 spots in our Top 30 roster with ?

We need to fill 2 spots by next week, so I'm guessing it won't be an external recruit.

#27 - NT
#28 - Buchanon

The remaining 2 spots I've no real clue, so as a guess I would say the 2 that are impressing in the first half of Cup games, be that Reed, O'Neil, Finau just to bame a few who could come into calculations.

How about Suli catching a kick on our 20/30m line and running the length?

Agree Mr. Miller , In my working days I was a fitter and machinist by trade , with trade certificate as well as a craftsman’s certificate . I was one of the better tradesman due to a well tutored apprenticeship which led to other opportunities during my working career which I shall not go into now .

However yes you are certainly correct .There are good and bad tradesman but in my opinion he , Flanagan has performed well considering he is not one of the top line No. 7 ‘s going around in the game , he has done a job for the Dragons and will continue to do so until young Kade Reed is ready and finally, will make way for him and we shall have an Atkinson/Reed scrum base duo that will more than make up for the lean years we here at the Dragons have been experiencing .

Of course as an outsider whose club currently has the luxury of a number of top flight half backs it is easy to pick out other club’s’ Achilles heel , however as said in my previous paragraph our future in that position looks bright with Kade Reed . What happens to Flanagan after that you may wonder ? An excellent prospect for many other positions in the team - he won’t be wasted .

Nick Tsougranis was already upgraded and is included in that Top 30 already I’m pretty sure so my guess is Buchanan and maybe Haele Finau ??

That happened years ago, was against Manly or Warriors if I remember correctly. It was like watching Tim Lafai score a length of the field try many years ago. I was able to leave the room to make a coffee and grab a few biscuits before he finally crossed the line and scored.
Back on Suli, I actually think he would make a decent winger, a much better version of CT.

Suli should not be in the team . Bucky should be right centre. Suli brings nothing
