Unless a reputable NRL grade coach is signed we won’t be signing anyone of any significance. What has finally been played out in the media Making the club to be a basket case should surely motivate the club to sign a reputable coach. I hope McWrecker wasn’t sacked on Tuesday as said coach is not locked in yet.

Yeah no doubt. We are going to really struggle to recruit anyone. I would like to see Drago given a run off the bench, he might not be ready yet but there is only one way to make him ready. Look at Mitchell at Souths had a cracker today. Started off not being able to last the game out round 1 to now winning mom awards. Lomax drops a couple in the rain and is dropped after 1 week. Players need time and patience to develop.

Apparently we are chasing Addo Carr, Vunivalu and Rapana. I thought Vunivalu was going to Rugby? Anyway good luck with that. Rapana is a possibility.

Rapana already went to Japan but come back due to covid, Vunivalu has signed with rugby Australia but with the whole comp being torn up his contract may be void I guess. I would imagine if he doesn’t go to rugby he would stay at Melb but I guess we have to have targets.

So Saints have Jasan Saab who everyone knows is going to be a gun and they don't play him because of Mary's love for Rava, and Milward has to spend big dollars to bring in Addo-Carr. Sailor in teh same boat, a guy that can creat something from nothing and would be a great fullback and gets no shot, they go and look in the market.

Would that be Milward's decision because they are not being played he has to recruit for those positions? Or Mary's because he thinks they are not good enough so Milward needs to recruit. Sounds to me like Mary has more say than Milward when it comes to roster.

replace some of the senior players with our junior stars; and

it’s clear Mary didn’t adopt either piece of advice.
