Aaron Woods ! Come on , pleeeease . Can you imagine just how much loo-paper that bloke would you use in one sitting ? We would be losing money the day he walked in .

We require fire and brimstone , not turn your body and barge into the opposition with your big behind . I reckon our possum could had gone out into the market place and signed someone better .

He is a pillow when he runs. Won’t cover the inside and literally lets guys run past him, he is not better than any other option you have.

He was THE single player I was worried the sharks would retain. Be pissed if you have signed him. He is a wasted spot.

I’m fine with Woodsy, he’s definitely better than Faumausili, Alvaro and Ellis.
Agree FCD
Whilst I’m not doing cartwheels about it he’ll do a better job than them.
For some reason he’s very difficult to put down & has an offload, size & clean skin on & off the field.
For one year which is reported he’ll do a job.

O.k , o.k , I will give the big bloke the benefit of the doubt . He does have a good off-load however it will be up to Griffo to train our boys to follow him in attack , it’s been so long since we have had someone with the ability to off-load to his supports that they may have forgotten .

But he brings his own loo-paper !

I'm ok with Woods for a year, he does have that 1 thing that we have been lacking in and that is a late offload for 2nd phase play, that will open up players like Sloan, Amone and even Hunt.

But, more importantly, as Reid stated, the 17th franchise will be announced shortly and it will be a free-for-all for signings and release requests. Tying up players like Bud is now a major assignment for our retention team.

I wouldn't be surprised if we even let a few 'negotiate' who are coming off contract and I'm talking forwards here, hence, signing Woods (as rumoured atm) does have some merit.

This exactly.
This club has asked us to accept many head scratchers but this takes the cake.
The game has moved wayyyy past Aaron Woods. One dimensional, slows the play down with slow hit ups, reversing whilst the defence gets back on side and set for next play.
He is 100% a waste of a top 30 spot and the fact that Sharks said they wouldn’t re-sign him for less than $200K just goes to show that they are looking for something more than Aaron Woods.
If this signing is true then I am officially worried about HOOK, his days are numbered.

Sloan looks like a good support player.

I’m really not for a new club. The talent just isn’t there imo.

And anyone getting a stiffy over George Burgess coming is in for a very rude awakening, wait until he starts dropping the pill cold coming out of our own end on the regular.
Bunnies supporters called him butterfingers Burgess!!!!
Can picture this happening Crush. He dropped heaps playing for the Bunnies. We cannot afford to be dropping balls close to our line when trying to get out of the red zone. Hunt receives the ball from the kick off and passes it to G Burgess. Oh no! knock on and the defending team scores next to the posts. Haha!

With all of these big bods being signed by the Dragons I do hope that they contest each and every scrum that is put down.

More ball for our attack can be only be a plus .

DS, If wayne becomes the coach of the new team then as you said its going to be a signing frenzy from nov1 to get his new squad signed and ready to go .. could be slim pickings for 23 and as you said we need to ensure we need to have our 'future" signed to avoid being poached . wonder how many bunnies wayne manages to take with him .....
