I am not so sure @TheRev about the Dog's training standards.
A few big names they signed are struggling to fit in at the kennel, plus the worst defence in the competition.
I get the feeling some of their buys have been a bit random, plus dare I say it, are they like the Dragons and not fit enough for the pace of the game in 2023??
I have not seen much of Alamoti play, but would be a lot more comfortable signing him rather than RFM or Luke Thompson.

Surely it's about the Tino's, Hass's, Fafita's, Munster's, Edward's etc all wanting to play for FTF and of course play with under our our inspirational captain's courageous Hunt.

The papers and his media mates are all talking about the "turnaround at StGI" and how he is talking to this one and that one 15 or 20 of them in fact and of course the Sele signing is just the tip of the iceberg.

Well I hope for everyone's sake that there is some element of truth in all of it because other teams are highlighting where they are at re signings and we have nothing more than rumours and of course Sele.

No doubt in my mind the "rebuild" mantra will come into the conversation more and more and how 2025 is the critical year for signings thus giving breathing room yet again.

Correct that is how it seems. Although Sims got 2, Sivo 3 and fought it and lost got 4! There are plenty of other examples.
Whilst I am ok with it but has the sin-bin been put away for important games where they dont want to have to much influence. 12 weeks ago again everything was a sin bin.
I also noticed there are lot less people going off for HIA's unless it is real obvious.
Before you only had to be brushed across the head and you went off. I am glad they are applying some commonsense here

He is wanting to play fullback would be huge signing for Dragons.

`Not making excuses at all. Nothing bad has happened. I seen some positive thats all since Flanno was announced
All I know is Sele is better than who we have released.. that is an upside

How come you have not raised that Flanno has told about 1/2 our 1st grade squad by now they are free to find a better deal (players you jump up and down about how bad they are) as a positive and clearing a heck of cap space to maybe land a marquee for us.

In respect to your last question I keep asking because you told us your out and wont watch because of him which I respect your decision. So why do you worry about continually bagging him before he has done anything bad or good yet or come to the club and started..thats all
Plenty of people including me are just riding on the feeling of positive vibes that are around the club and seeing players that should of never been recruited being cast away and that he is trying to really shake the joint up which it needed.
In respect to DY i hope your wrong but I worry about that when he is appointed HC

Lomax will need to engage in sprint training

Lacks the speed to play the position.

Perhaps won’t matter if he saves tries in defence and is good under the high ball.

He has had repeated injuries plus 3 into 2 positions don’t go and apparently he keeps asking to go. Flanno might be wanting to do the right thing by Sullivan in letting him go and play more 1st grade? He also states he is looking for an improved attitude in the team. Maybe Flanno is calling him out to get his head right? I don’t really know but I agree with Flanno that our roster needs fixing, we might lose a few players I might like to keep, and it will take 2-3 years to get it right.

I’d give Tyrell one more off season but if the trend continues to start next season then he needs to either go to wing or go full stop. It’s too much of a liability.

Ramsay seemed to really improve in physicality two off seasons ago before he went down injured and then ultimate cruelled by illness. He was able to do something about it. Someone like Dufty always was a liability and just like Sloan, ultimately was to risky a selection in NRL as hard as it is to accept. Bulldogs felt the same.

Love Sloan with ball in hand. Rest of his game needs urgent attention.

then again, send him to storm and he will probably turn into the next Billy Slater.
