The run home

Warriors (away)
Roosters (home)
Knights (away)
Tigers (home)
Tits (away)
Manly (home)

On paper a easy run home but with our long history of not winning when needed has me very nervous. Our for and against is better than the teams around us which might be the difference.
If we beat the Warriors next game then thats them gone imo. The real threat is the Tigers imo

No reason we can't win all 6 of those games. Up to the boys to keep turning up.
Except for we're us.

We would be doing well to win half those games. Knights are the only gimme team there and honestly I could see us throwing that one away.

Yeah I doubt we can put an 8 game streak together regardless of who we play. Still, we couldn't ask for a much better run so there's some promise.

Assuming Brisbane are safe despite their current poor form as they only need 2 more wins and have Roosters twice, Dragons and Eels. So there are 2 places left. The sides contesting those places are us, the Titans, Tigers and Warriors. Titans and us have 2 points advantage and for and against advantage over the Tigers (not so much the Warriors)as well. All of these teams play each of the other three, so these games are like a round robin for the top 8.

I'm also writing off the Dragons, who have an appalling for and against and need to win 5 from 6, and have the Bulldogs, Broncos and Sharks next up. They are in poor form as well.

The Tigers have to win 2 more than us due to their for and against.Apart from the other 3 in the running (only Titans at home) they've got the Raiders (home) and Cowboys in Townsville. It's a big ask. They really have to win 5 of 6 with their for and against.

Warriors are home to us and the Tigers, and have the Titans away. Apart from that they've got the Cows in Townsville (ouch) and Rabbitohs and Eels at home. This isn't a bad draw. They need to win 4 of them and try not to get touched up too badly in Towsville. This weekend's game is utterly critical.

The Titans are also home to us and the Warriors, and away to the Tigers. They've also got the yucky Townsville trip, and the Sharks at home as well. To balance this, they have the Knights in Newcastle. They need 3 wins and to keep it tight in their games against the top 4 sides.

We're at home only to the Tiges of the big 3, we've also got the Roosters and Manly at home, and the Knights in Newcastle. It's easily the best draw of the 4 sides, but not as good as the Broncos. We have only ourselves to blame if we cannot win 3 of these, seeing we've got the bottom 2, who have won just 3 of 34 (not counting when they played each other) to play. We are the only one of the Big 4 that don't have to play the Cowboys in Townsville.

I think we may finish 7th and have to travel to Brisbane again for Week 1. The Broncos have never beaten us in a final. Won't those Broncos fans be packing death if that happens!

That win over Brisbane was important because I didn't give us much hope, and even more so its boosted our f/a dramatically seeing a similar scoreline lost would have killed it. I think we should win this week against NZ we have a very good recent record against them. roosters game is a massive danger game, could see us dropping that but the fact its at home helps. newcastle should be a win surely. tigers is another danger game too but luckily is also at home. titans i think we will drop. manly at home should be a comprehensive win

We should win this week. So what else needs to happen to make the 8? If we beat whoever loses out of Tits and Tigpies this weekend and will that be enough? The Manly game worries me but at home we should probably win.

Nah I'm confident we win manly and win well. Tigers and titans are hard ones will lose one of them

I have a feeling we can and will win the remaining games we play.

A win should be doable this weekend.

A Friday night game vs Tigers at home should nearly be a sell out with us being on a roll and sitting pretty in the 8, then onto the Titans who may at that point be out of contention and a final game vs Manly who have nothing left to play for and us hitting form and with confidence peaking..

After a year of injuries, 3 key/leading players leave mid season, with a new coach and blooding a bunch of kids & many often playing out of position, this has been a good year.

Other than the Newcastle game which you would expect us to win the other games are far from easy. If we put our best foot forward, play at our best, yes we could win all of our remaining games but we haven't strung more than two win's back to back all season. The time is certainly right to do so at the business end of the season.
