4 out of 8 will get us in the top 8,3 outta eight and we're gonna struggle to make it...

So if the Warriors,Eel,Cowgirls are gimme's then we're on 26 points!!

Anything is possible from here, but if we are to be a genuine threat for the premiership then the momentum has to start building NOW.

The Rorters game is a very tough one but there is no reason we can't can't win every one of them.

We are a shot in our next 4 games. I don't think you can expect to win every game but I do think the sharks can win 2 or 3 of them leading into the Roosters. The roosters will be a huge test.

That's true, we don't have to beat the Roosters or the Dragons, but we MUST win all of our remaining home games and beat the Cowboys. That will give is 32 points and a good spot in the finals. Probably 6th or 7th. Hopefully 6th.

Is making the 8 enough? Who do we meet in the first week if we get there? Roosters or Dogs? Or Storm or Brisbane? At HOME? No thanks.

But, let's look at who's likely to NOT be there...

Leaves us fighting it out with Newcastle, but I guess even the Tigers are not out of it, given their soft run home.

I reckon we would have to be a good chance against warriors (H), Eels (H), Storm (H) and Cowboys (A) (putting us on 26)

I also think we will beat the Dragqueens (traditionally have swapped wins - if they beat us at Shark Park we normally win at Oki-doki/Jubilee - whatever the hell its called) (28 points). We managed to beat the Broncs in Brisbane so not beyond the realms of possibility.

The Dogs are tougher - but looked pretty woeful on Sunday - Rorters - only game that has me worried.

I think we may manage to finish on 32/34 points - wherever that leaves us on the table.

to me the good news is we are actually able to consider being in the 8 at all.

A few weeks ago we looked gawn for all money.

Given the win against Bris and the recent one against the Knights, I'd say we can hold our own against any in the comp although, I do think beating the Rat Rooters is a big ask. Not impossible though.

We got Kimmorley and Peach back soon. That will only strengthen us. If Sully and co can continue to improve as they have done and we get lucky with injuries/suspensions we should do well.

I've always thought the finals are a competition unto themselves. If we're in, then we have got a chance.
