Did anyone else notice the foul act of Skandalis taking a dive looking for a penalty in the first half??

For a player I highly respected as a good footballer and even greater gentle giant of the game I must say I was shocked and dissappointed in his action!!

At least common sence prevailed and no penalty awarded!!

What a bloody goose!!!!

Skando not only corked his thigh but also had tests for a pinch nerve on monday in his back - not to mention Lee heard a crack when the tackle was made but hey your right he took a dive  Oh by the way the suspected pinched nerve was due to that tackle but hey yeah he dived and had no reason too

Not only did he play the next 2 sets of 6 he played his fair share of the 2nd half. My opinion was he took a dive looking for a penalty, but yeh eh must be severely injured because Skando wouldn't do that

What about when Wade hurt his shoulder in the tackle by Pat Richards- and went straight to ground and Senter did a Ricko and yelled at him to get up...and told the ref he was faking it. Good one Darren you dicksmack!

That’s your opinion, I'm not his biggest fan but to be far to him I have never seen him take a dive let alone stay down unless he is injured or is suffering a large amount of pain at the time - I think its more a case of bad looser syndrome rather than anything else

how do you reckon he felt when he looked up and saw it was the tranny vella who sat him on his bum

As bad as Vella felt when he looked at the scoreboard, I suppose.

I don't really care whether Skando is or was injured in that tackle. He was more than capable of getting to his feet to play the ball or hand the ball to someone else to play the ball on his behalf. Instead of lying on the ground to let the video ref have a look at a perfectly legite tackle!
Playing the next 2 sets of six and the majority of the 2nd half prooves this!!

Soft isn't the word I would use. The description that comes to mind starts with a C and ends in heat!!

So by your words anyone who gets injured in a tackle shoud either get up and ignore injury and play the ball or of course quickly show the pressance of mind and give the ball to someone else and allow them to play the ball.

Perfect example was Luke Lewis on Friday night even though he got pocked in the eye he should of played the ball ???

Your a complete goose and a sore looser thats the words I would be using regarding this topic

What happened to the rule when someone's injured the referee calls a quick time out, gives the ball to another player to play five metres away along side the player being treated, play on if there's no foul play?

Any foul play missed by the ref and touchies to be picked through the video tribunal review on monday. Takes out all the business about diving for penalties and video refs needing to adjudicate on anything but tries.
