Nothing earth shattering in it. Nothing we don't already know. But the one thing that made me want to puke.........Two banners at the bottom of almost every page.

First one with a picture of bee sting head with the quote " The definitive voice of Rugby League"

Second one with a picture of Danny Weidler with the quote " Breaks more stories than anyone in sport"

Cough,cough.....Bullcrap!!

and to top it off Gould states under the Roosters section under weaknesses....."Not many"

Great journalism Gould was it really woth printing in the guide? Are you objective about anything?

I wouldnt have expected anything different from gould. He wasnt too harsh on the sharks and dis say we would be a bit of a surprise packet this year (whether that is good or bad i dont know).

He did right off manly, souths and surpisringly, Parra. Pritchard was a bit nicer tipping us a top 8 finish.

We wait in anticipation

My favourite quote from it was in the warriors section, next to an action pic of villa

"Prop Richard Villasanti made a big impact on his NRL colleagues last season"
haha ...all these jabs to the ribs are memorable

Or this one about joey

"Fantastic on the field and an often complex character off the field"
in other words ...joey reckons you're a tosser, gus, and treats you accordingly

And one of them was accurate.

When I saw that he didn't have any articles in the paper and someone else had done the Last Word I was hopeful the Herald had decided it was tired of slipping circulation and punted him. If he is advertised him like that in the Footy guide I guess my hopes are dashed.

Of course Weidler breaks more stories than anyone

Because he makes them up

No one else has the sheer gall that he has to fabricate things

Just like that stupid John O'Neill rumour he printed last week, that some of the Wallabies have warned the Socceroos what to watch out for. Like that ever happened! Wilson debunked that myth today.
