in todays tele they had there tipsters predicts the top 8. of the 8, 5 predicted us for the 8.

barry toohey eels 8
jeff wells eels 4
mike gibson eels 4


of the other 3 ray chesterton had the tigers at no 8 and cowboys at 7
dean ritchies and paul kent basically had the same 8 as last year.

so not bad 5 otta 8 pickin us for the 8 2 of them saying top 4

I don't take much stock in these pre-season predictions. An injury here, a long term suspension there can seriously affect a teams chances. It's kinda fun though to look back at these things and see how close it is.
I'm going to join a tipping comp and put my selections for the entire year in advance and see how bad I go at the end. :lol:

Well Jeff Wells & Mike Gibson have NFI so them tipping us as top 4 is actually like a black cloud hanging over us. Frilingoose isn't exactly the sharpest league brain going around either. James Hooper is right on the money for me, I think we'll finish 5th or 6th.
