Did anyone go last night ?

As a Floyd fan i may be bias but it can't be topped as the best rock concert ever seen.

Brilliant, awesome, epic, all that.
I feel sorry for anyone who missed it and is a fan of good music and a good show, same with his Dark Side of the Moon tour in 2007.

I can find you dozens more comments and videos about him and of him blatantly Lip Syncing.

Choose to deny it.

I love Waters but I would not waste my money to see an old man mime to a tape I am afraid.

You asked if he lip-synched during the Wall Concert.

And the answer is an emphatic no.
He has been lip syncing for over ten years. I can only assume he mumbles a bit these days and the choir/backing singers does the rest. I have seen some really bad examples of him lip syncing some pretty basic notes.

Waters really is a pretty average performer without Floyd.

Well you assume wrong. And there was nothing average about his performance.

But don't take my word for it, ask pretty much anyone who has, you know, actually seen the concert.

I have seen enough of Roger thank you.

He is now an old man who has deceived audiences for years with demonstrated evidence of Lip Syncing.

Either his voice has made a miraculous recovery in his late 60s or else they are covering it up better.

Alternatively you do not want to believe the self evident truth.

Enjoy the false god.

was at tonight's concert and was too far back to tell if he was lip synching and tbh if you were there to try and see if he was or not then you missed an amazing show.

which is unlikely to ever be matched for it's concept and delivery .

The duet he did with himself from 32 years ago was amazing. Top show. His voice isn't what it used to be, but who cares, the production values just made it something that you came away going thank god I saw that.

Anyway, for the fans...
Is Pink Floyd's The Wall Immersion edition going to have a 5.1 Surround Mix?
James: My understanding is that EMI plan to stick to their release schedule for the 'Why Pink Floyd?' campaign, which means there wouldn't be time to include a 5.1 mix in 'The Wall' Immersion Box. I will be doing a 5.1 mix of The Wall for release on SACD, but we don't have a planned release date for that yet. The original multitrack tapes are in pretty bad shape, so the project will take some time. I'm currently working on a Blu-ray release of 'The Wall' Movie.

A must have.
