1000 posts for the week and we are just a few short of the 300 member milestone.
A good week for LWOS.
Nice to see posts by Albertrosenfeld and Blue and Gold. They are a couple of my favourites.

That didn't work too well. It is meant to be a cut and past of my favourites showing LWOS has 1002 posts for the week.
BTW, this is the first time we have cracked 1000 since the week of the grandfinal last year.

295 members and we still have the proud record of never banning anyone from the site, although there have been some furious email exchanges between the managers at times suggesting we consider dropping this rule.

I guess when you compare the number of members v the number of contributions, the figures aren't too shabby at all. Well done to one and all.

This thread is a few months old but I thought it worth noting that the forum has clocked 1000 posts this week.... with only 360+ members, its a top effort.

What accounts for the low number of posts at LWOS? Are posts down in numbers for the time of year and season?

The boards here at LWOShave been a little quite of late, barely raking up a few hundred replies for the past fewweeks. I can't figure out why.
Anyone have any ideas?

I have to say that a few of us have been concentrating a lot more on League Unlimited of late. It all takes time. In anticipation of this, we put on a few more assistant managers a few months back.

I still post here every day but I don't think its as much as it used to be. Also, Moffo hasn't been around of late becuase of study committments and I think we're missing the daily input from his gab. He'll be back though.

But LWOS was never the biggest. We've always done well in the holidays but during the footy season, there is a lot of competition for forum discussion.
For example. The Footy Show with its links to Channel Nine generates ahuge amount of replies.... but these seem to drop off in the off-season and LWOS seems to pick up. Its just the way it is.

When there was a huge exodus from Grandsatnd Forums over to LWOS, the place went crazy for a bit. But the Nine Msn format didnt suit many of them and they filtered through to other message boards which had formats that they were more familiar with.

Which brings me to the Front Row forums....
IMHO, the future is with The Front Row. Only a few technical glitches are stopping a full-on promotion. We've had some bad luck setting it up butit seems to be slowly gaining momentum. Early days still.

In the meantime, I'm sure LWOS will continue to have its ups and downs. I still remember when we only had six contributors... it was somewhat slower back then.

No offense to LU or Front Row, but I hate to see LWOS slow down because members are going to LU instead.

I'm sure these trends take on a life of their own, and maybe"its just the way it is" as Willow said, but I hope LWOS can bounce back.
