There's a head coach in the NRL right now that has a good track record of making the top-8 with his current team, but might be looking for a change of club soon.

If Benji turns out to be a dud, he might be worth considering.

Weirdly we’re miles ahead of where we were as a team in 2022, and even 2021. Those years there were literally no positives however this year guys like Bula, Tupou, Pole, Blore and Da Silva have all started to show they belong in first grade and could all end up very good players. We had our first (2) NSW rep in 6 years, Jnr reps coming out of our ears including Australian school boys halfback and player of the year. Just signed the NSW u20s captain and the last 3 Harold Matt’s players of the year are all now at the club.

Our team is more fixable then a few others at the bottom of the table imo. Overall the 17 isn’t that bad, it’s just that the bad is so bad that it drags the rest down. Having your 5th and 6th choice halves for multiple games and entire first Choice spine all out at once for 5 games in a row is gunna f*#k any team.

Coaching is the biggest issue moving forward. I still feel Benji will be a disaster, let’s hope the assistant coaches are good choices as they’re be critical.
