The Whitesnake appreciation thread

Whilst the world is currently enjoys the styles of modern legendary acts like the world famous You am I, Shihad, Missy Higgins etc i thought it would be an appropriate time to create a thread which reflects some of our older world famous stars and their greatest works. Whilst it could be argued that Whitesnake never had anywhere near as much success as Shihad, 'talented Tim' and You am I etc or the fact that the likes of Dave, Steve Vai, Vivian Campbell, Adrian Van den berg, Rudy Carzo etc couldn't hold a candle to the likes 'Tim terrific' etc , never the less we should always remember the greats of rock.

Is This love, a magnificant ballad, a geat riff which looks to incorperate a tad of flanger/delay, awesome song to root too.

Still of the night

My favourite song of all time, an absolute classic, whilst it still done considerably good on the charts for such a long side, the changes in the song, guitar, vocals and the fact it is in relation to a prosititute make this song my favourite, faultless!

This is one of the best tributes i've seen on youtube, David coverdale and Whitesnake, they cover many songs including 'crying in the rain' (one of the best riffs i've ever heard) and use footage from the late 70's till today, awesome stuff.
