I dont really have a good reason why but Greenberg always gave me a bad feeling, whenever he spoke i just felt like he came off as untrustworthy, I think i have described him as a snake oil salesman in the past and that is the vibe i get, shady salesman who i'd never do business with. The bigs sports breakfast and the talkin sport must've tried to get this bloke on their 3000 times the last few years and he almost constantly knocked them back, when he did come one once that I heard he just completely dismissed the questions put to him and went a on promotional pitch. No doubt he some decent things but he also IMO played favourites a lot, he refused or failed to instill and consistency in the handling of off field incidents, he made it up as he went a long. He even said once something "we dont pay attention to precedents when handing out ppunishments for off field incidents". So basically his NRL IU was willfully inconsistent when handing out punishments until 2018 offseason at least. And dont get me started midseason rule changes and directives to the refs to change the way they ref games during the season.

Did I say I believed that was the actual expenditure? Not sure how you came to that conclusion from a "500K a day" quote... way to read between the lines there...
