After years of speculation of a comeback, The Spice Girls will be re-uniting as a five-piece for the first time in six years to release their best of album.

The girls will release all their hits including "Wannabe", "Say You'll Be There", "2 Become 1", "Who Do You Think You Are", "Mama", "Spice Up Your Life", "Too Much", "Stop", "Viva Forever" and "Goodbye". The tracklisting will also feature a brand new track titled "Women".

The album will also be supported by a world tour but whether Australia will make it on the tour itinerary is yet to be decided.

Their debut single, "Wannabe", released in 1996, went on to sell in excess of 53 million records, establishing the group as one of the most commercially successful and influential female bands. The group released three studio albums and 10 singles, and starred in the film Spiceworld, which grossed $75 million (USD) globally.
