things that pleased and didn't please the duck

oohhhhhhh well we had a lost but the duck wasn't expecting much with what we had to offer.

Mr Aitken - when he realised taking the line on was more effective than his one step pass routine that he started with he looked tres good.

Mr simmons - looked far more at home as a footballer at fullback. technique, positioning, running, defence had few blemishes. didn't look to be talking though and that's where peach was missed.

Mr Dumas - hurt factor +++ a must start player from now on.

Mr Hilder - 1) looked nervous kicking for goal but geez looked the goods regardless. look like a kicker, smooth style, great follow through sweet strike. not at all like the jilted looking Noddy 2) has a lockyer like drop punt which goes a long, long way. surely MUST be used as the second in play kicker now.

Mr kent - the usual defensive rock.

things the duck was upset with

the slide on the line defence with no forward movement was terrible. the behind the ruck defence was terrible, i guess through lack of any real general to marshall the troops and tell 'em where to get

Mr sullivan - looked lost at halfback. he's a hooker now, leave him there.

Mr galloway - needs to be put in a dank dark room and fed raw meat for a month. has no killer in him at all. None.

Mr merritt - now he's third string kicker has very little reason to be included. give Mr Kent his spot.

Mr Franze - turn him into a second rower or maybe a 5/8 because he's not a centers tailfeather.

ones to feel sorry for

Mr McGoldDuck - was shafted by being changed from left to right.

Mr Beattie - wasn't ready.

Mr Gallen - wasn't fit, it was plain to see.

all in all though there wasn't much to become depressed about as they did what could of been expected with what they had. the effort was there and they played out 80 but they were simply short of on field administrators.

with hopefully 3 of the 4 big names back next week we'll beat penrith. Brave duck talk again!

Don't we have a thread like this somewhere else?

You just had to make a grand entrance mother duck? #-o

really? my humblest apologies Mr Dragon Slayer. what heinous sin I have committed by not seeing every post and inadvertently doubling up.

How does Pigland Bland punish you? :?

usually by witholding the teacake when I pop in for an Earl Grey

but sometimes there's a whip and chains involved....

Geez Frenzy, some harsh calls there, Galloway is going fine IMO and Gallen was 100% fit on the weekend, so I'm not sure what wrong tree your barking up there.

quack !
