It doesn't get much more difficult than the competition leaders. No curtain raiser this week but get there early to obtain a good view. :D

I'm thinking positively. If we didn't play that well last week (against the team that's now 4th) but we were still in with a sniff, surely if we put in a good performance, we can have a crack at Canterbury.

UP THE JETS!

See you Saturday

Jeffles..what would the Jets say to a band playing at the ground? Nothing better than a saturday afternoon covers show to get the blood pumping, the beer flowing.

Brenno... What's the band going to play? "Land of hope and glory"?

I play in a covers band and we are pretty damn good (not that I'm one to brag) and I reckon at the very least reunion day should feature a band cranking out some tunes on the hill. I guarantee it'll put more bums on seats!

Seriously, I don't think the club would be opposed. The only issue I can see being raised is about electricity. If we have no curtain raisers, a band would be a good way to keep the early arrivals entertained.Maybe too late for this Saturday though.

Well my sisters back fence is the henson park brick wall, so might be able to pass an extension cord over the fence when shes not looking! Oh sh*t I forgot her husband reads this forum, he is easily bribed by beers though.

Maybe brendo and DHPTJF can combine and perform a cover of, "Walk This Way."

Better yeat, we could re-enact the Triple M commercial from the early 1990s that featured the big bloke (whose role would be played by the Big Bopper) moving along to that song.

And it could be called "Henson Park, you've got talent"....

that would be the best idea Brendo has ever had, only problem being the heart and soul of Henson Park operations, the reason for the smooth running is no longer with the club.. the board should be stoned as they stood by and watch one spineless individual mistreat what was the best part of Newtown
