This Week vs Wenty and Bulldogs

Can it be two more wins?

Hamilton Hughes going up to replace Andrew Le Breton will effect both squads.

The Jim Beam Cup team can win against Wenty. They would have to back themselves on current form (past fortnight). Wenty are within reach. Wonder if Chan Ly has another blinder. His defence was superb against Erina. A real shock for me.

The PL clash will be a tough one. Bulldogs away always is. But there are two things on our side.

1) We beat the Dogs 30-18 at the Showground in 2002.

2) The Dogs aren't the high flyers they were in PL.

Our team in PL is in a rut. They need a win to get their confidence back. I fear that if it doesn't come soon, we'll have to pack our bags and wait for 2005. It is a tough draw ahead.

I agree mate. Injuries have been playing a part as usual haven't they, but if we play well and watch the pentalties we should be able to beat the bulldogs after studying current form.

Matt UTAI I think went up to first grade on the weekend, and they were not doing too well even with him in the side.

However going off current forms one would have foreseen a different result in the Norths/Newtown game as well.

Just hope we have got some players returning soon from injury, cause it won't be too much longer and we'll miss the boat.

I went to the Wenty game. The team generally played well and would be kicking themselves that they didn't win. Terrible defence left of the middle killed the Jets and handed Wenty a world of opportunities.

The Trevor Schodel Cup goes to Wenty for 2004
