Wests Tigers Coach Tim Sheens has named his side to play Manly Sea Eagles at Leichhardt Oval on Sunday, May 7, in round 9 of the Telstra Premiership. Kick-off is 3pm.
Half-back Scott Prince has moved to five-eighth with hooker Robbie Farah moving to half-back to cover Prince. Stuart Flanagan returns to the hooking role.

The captaincy role will be shared between Prince and Farah.

Dene Halatau has been named on the interchange bench for his first game of the season following shoulder surgery.

Prop John Skandalis will play his 150th game for the Wests Tigers, a current record.

Casualty Ward:

I think this is our best looking Benji-Hodgson-less team - i have a good feeling about Robbie at halfback, FITZY IS OUT OF THE HALVES! and it'll be good to have Dene back :D

Yep looks very strong to me, esp on a Sunday arvo at Leichardt.

Win this and we back at evens with 4 - 4. Lose and its, um, not good.

Hodgson back for NRL clash against Manly

May 4, 2006 - 2:09PM

Fullback Brett Hodgson has been cleared to play for the Wests Tigers in Sunday's NRL match against Manly at Leichhardt Oval.
The Tigers skipper will return a week earlier than expected after injuring his hand in the round six win over Cronulla three weeks ago.
Coach Tim Sheens said Hodgson will replace 18-year-old fullback Shannon McDonnell in the side.
"But it may cause a couple of others changes too," Sheens said, hinting hooker Robbie Farah, who has been named at halfback, may likely spend time at rake with Hodgson pushed up into the halves.
"It's very good news for the side having Brett back, he's a quality player, and the captain of the side, so I'm pleased to have him back."
Sheens said the Tigers will wait until Saturday to decide whether New Zealand stars five-eighth Benji Marshall and centre Paul Whatuira will be fit to back up against the Sea Eagles after playing in Friday's Test versus Australia.

You may look at it as a good thing but thats alot of players without match fitness and also coming off the bye but thats my view. Anyway i will wish you and your team good luck on sunday. Im hopeing it is a repeat of the trial match ;-)
