Is this year's kick off at 5.30pm or 7.30pm?

nrl.com doesn't seem to have it anywhere

Thanks

Thanks mate

You would think that nrl.com would have this sort of info
but whoever designs their site wants shooting - it's always been pitiful

As above it will be advertised as 5:00pm but I highly doubt it will start before 5:15pm.

Says 5.00pm on my ticket, but that will mean about 5.30pm, we have to wait until channel 9 is ready:x

This really shits me that the advertised time and actual times are different. Even for just one game the NRL kicked off at the advertised time regardless if 9 were ready or not.

We have another 5 years and 2 weeks of Nines crap, unless and I highly doubt it, something was written into the contact for 2013-17 that televised Friday kick offs are at 7:35

5.30 this year. then it goes to 7.30 from next year, for the next 5 years!

It would be nice if they went back to a day final, but don't see it happening any time soon.

The quality of footy is better during the day/twilight. I really hope that there is a public backlash against 9 and they back down to a twilight GF but I doubt it.

No, get your facts right.

Both NSW and QLD will remain on the same time zone. Daylight savings kicks in on the first Sunday morning of October, which is the weekend after the Grand Final this year.

The Grand Final is scheduled to kick off about 5:15pm AEST from an advertised 5:00pm. Usually gets underway by 5:18-5:19pm. Only way that really changes is if one of the lower grades goes overtime.

The TAB has the cut-off for betting on the GF at 5:15 p.m.

Knowing channel Neins form of starting severely late on Fridays and SOO's,this match wont start till at the latest 5:30-5:45 p.m.

Take for example when Roy & H.G. don't start their coverage until 5:00 p.m.,and the SOO and GF matches have ALWAYS started 1/2 hr later. And they (ABC radio) get their info from the sources (channel Nein and 2 GB) who dictate when it starts.

So I can't see any reason why the status quo would change.

It's only kicked off after 5:20pm in the seasons where the NYC match has gone into overtime tbh

I hope there's "extra time" in both the VB Cup and the NYC.

Makes the day go longer and gives me "extra time" to supp a few more beers.:b::crazy:<----To and from the fridge.:D
