Just heard on 2KY....theyre saying that Wests Tigers have announced a third home ground with the agreement to play the Warriors at Jade stadium for the next three years.
Their words, not mine.

Your topic should read - "4 home grounds" ... we play twice a year at Telstra stadium also.

It's round 10 and we have only played twice at our real home grounds. Instead of getting all the help we can from our home games - we take them elsewhere and give up any advantage we would of had.

It's ridiculous. I dont care about the extra monetary $$$ that comes with playing these games in NZ and Telstra. Playing at home is more important IMO. A team like the Roosters play about 14-15 games a year at Aussie Stadium -- we play 9 at home.

Very old news this, saw it announced on channel 10, i was sure this was known since the draw for this season was finalised, perhaps at that stage it was only for this year?

The Jade website says:
The Wests Tigers call Jade Stadium Home
Financial pressures will put more home games in jeopardy.

The Wests Tigers league team has confirmed a day and start time for their game against the Warriors at Jade Stadium in Christchurch.

The Tigers host the Warriors on Sunday June 13, with kick off at 4.30.

The match is Jade Stadium's first official NRL competition fixture.

It is the first of three games for the ground, featuring the Tigers, over the next few years.

This is simply a confirmation of scheduling for a game that was pre-empted prior to the season!

It is a case of the NRL and clubs now being able to state that it will be on this day at this time rather than merely designating the Round and weekend.

I assume the early announcement of game-time etc is to enable those supporters who care to travel there to plan!

F**ck the media spin!!!
