Well here we are again, another edition of Thuga's thoughts. And now that Taboo Tuesday is finished, it looks like there will be a lot of changes on RAW. Lets first talk about Taboo Tuesday and RAW.
Taboo Tuesday and RAW.
Im going to go through match by match and give you my thoughts on it.
Chris Jericho vs Shelton Benjamin - With Benjamin winning, Jericho will now have to move into a new feud. And I think it would be perfect to set up a Jericho vs HHH feud leading into Survivor Series. Orton wont get another shot till Wrestlemania 21, and in the mean time Jericho could be a great opponent for HHH. As for Shelton Benjamin, he is still on the road to main event status, and I believe he should feud with Christian. Christian could use the whole "I should of got the title shot at Taboo Tuesday" angle, and lead that into a match at Survivor Series.
Diva Battle Royal
It has been along time since we have seen a real good womens title feud. Im really hoping that we get to see one soon. But the thing is, there arn't and real good contenders for Trish's title. Lita, Stacy and Victoria would be the main options as they are the top women baby faces on RAW. Lita is in the whole Kane angle and Victoria isn't really getting over as a baby face. I guess that leaves Stacy, but theres just one problem.....Shes not the best wrestler, shes better used for managing etc. And with Trish eliminating Stacy last in the battle royal, it may end up in a feud between 2 of the hottest Divas in the WWE.
Kane vs. Gene Snitsky
What has happened to Kane?? He was once a man who you couldn't keep down, if you hit him with your best shot he would always get up straight away. Now...Hes getting humiliated by a rookie. Speaking of this Rookie, Gene Snitsky is making a name for himself quickly. But does he continue his feud with Kane, or does he take out a big baby face on Raw? Im thinking maybe a feud against Benoit or Eugene. Anyway, back on Kane..im not sure where his angle can go to be honest. Im thinking a possible Show switch and move him to Smackdown? But that is unlikely. Anyway, im interested in seeing where these 2 wrestlers go from here.
Eugene vs Eric Bischoff
Bischoff lost his match, and now has very little hair left. I dont see where this is going to go either. Eugene needs a proper feud, while Bischoff just needs to go back to being a General manager and not wrestling. Im thinking that Vince and Bischoff could have a big fued on RAW. Bischoff could do something that might put Vince in danger of losing the WWE or something of the sort. Something like that would keep entertaining the fans so I think they should run with a story line like that. As for Eugene, Needs a good fued against a good heel. Possibly Batista.
La Resistance vs. Edge & Chris Benoit
Now this is interesting, Benoit won the titles by himself. But Edge still is the champ. I dont know where they are going to go with this. Because Edge will feud with HBK most likely, which leaves Benoit..possibly defending the titles by himself. As for La Resistance, they have had the titles for a long time now, now they will need a new feud or possibly win back the titles some how. This is the problem with the Tag divisions...there arent enough recognized Tag teams on RAW.
Christy vs Carmella
Feud will continue most likley, Im expecting one of the Divas to possibley being like a Trish Stratus in the near future. They will start of by managing and having matches like Bra and Panties Etc, then they will develop their wrestling abilites and be a very successful star in around a year or so. As for now, im not sure where they go. Possibly managing or something.
Triple H vs Shawn Michaels
HBK on Raw injured his knee for real, and still wrestled this match. What a superstar
. I mentioned that Y2J may be a candidate for HHH's world title, and I think Edge and HBK will have a great feud coming up. Edge cost Michaels the Title by spearing him, and now is a top heel on Raw. This feud will carry on to Survivor Series and maybe beyond that.
Randy Orton vs Ric Flair
Now This was interesting, once they had their brutal match they stood up and had a embrace. Flair now looks like he is a Face, and expect on RAW next week for HHH and Batista to confront Flair and take him out. and Orton will make the save.
Well This thuga's thoughts was just about where I think certain feuds will head after Taboo Tuesday.
