Just heard a rumour that Thurston has gone to the Sea Eagles next year. Dont know how truthful this is though.

I reckon it's true.....that rumor has been floating around abit!!

Thurston = Manly......Anasta = Rugby Union.....Canterbury's 5/8 solution??....Corey Hughes :lol: :lol:

I reckon the other way around.....Oliver to 5/8!!.....the boy can play!

And Thurston has disappointed me. Since the start of 2002 when i first saw him playing i thought he'd be much better in the top grade then what he's shown.

In first division he's a gun and does it all. On the step up to first grade he offers minimal in attack and is a huge liability in defence.

I thought he was the next big thing but seeing his performances recently i've been proven wrong. Offloading him off to a club like Manly would be better for our club IMO.

I disagree in ways....i think he's been great in many game this year in First Grde.....i believe he's just to injury prone & fragile!!

Every time he looks like finally cementing his spot....he either get's injured or Anasta is back from injury!!

I reckon Canterbury where better off releasing Anasta & keeping Thurston!.....it would free up some money aswell.
