Hey I heard that there are at least 20,000 tickets unsold for this Sundays game. Has anyone got a list of attandances at Telstra Test Matches since the stadium opened?

I reckon a crowd of 60,000 would be pretty good. If the weather is as bad as predicted (cold and rainy), they will struggle to get much more than 50,000 IMHO.

My mate who is a stadium member is going. He wasn't going to go, but had put in for tickets some time back. He now has to go because he found out that unless his passes go through the turnstyles he'll be charged some ridiculous price for the seats.

Do you think all the nationalism surrounding the socceroos will have a positive effect in getting fans out there, or has it taken away from the promotion of the game?

I am not going, and I am a stadium member. I'd rather cop the penalty, than waste my time watching the Poms!

Interesting question about the Socceroos. There might be some benefit, I suppose. Any kind of international contest has a patriotic edge to it.

I actually think it is quite an important series for us, which should be enough to get the interested fans there. If we cannot hammer this England side, we are in trouble.

60,000 to me wasnt spectacular seeing union internationals usually pull much bigger crowds.

The Bledisloe pulls bigger crowds. Considering that it was a second string England team, plus the weather this weekend has been diabolical, it was a good crowd.

Plus it was shown live on both FTA and Fox in Sydney.

Interesting. I suppose it's comparable with the South Africa match in 05, but this was the first Aus vs England match in Sydney since the WC final.

How are tickets sales for this weeks match?
