I think their was plenty of effort yesterday but their was no direction in either attack or defense and really that comes down to combinations. You cant go into a game against any NRL team with more than half your team on the side lines and expect to cause a boil over. They will get better over the next few weeks but really dont expect too many wins over the next month or so. One thing for certain Farah should be sent off for the groin job asap

Wouldn't mind seeing Fifita in the second row working the fringe, seems to suit his style much more and he's very very quick for a big guy.

I think some expectations seem high given the number of players that we had out, and also Farah is carrying an injury and Gibbs had his first game back...

There are a lot of new guys in the team that are going to take some time to adjust...

I think they went Ok to be honest - they weren't disgraced against a pretty handy side...

The facts are though, that the team they put on the field yesterday is not going to collect many wins this year...

One player that I am disappointed in is Dwyer... has really bad hands...

We lacked a defensive structure, players standing around like brown cows, especially when on our own line.

Lucky we didn't get dicked by 50 to be honest.

Moltzen was below par, but in his time at 7 he's had an in form, confident and healthy Marshall in the 6 and Fraha in the 9.

Thus, playmaking/kicking duties were pretty evenly spread and he was getting just the right amount of responsibility.

But today with Benji not getting much ball and Farah doing plenty wrong, I got the impression Moltzen felt compelled to try and make something happen everytime he got the ball.

Most disappointingly, no one seemed to remember to run straight lines when benji was drifting sideways, so more often than not, he'd end up passing it to whoever was nearest, and they were usually flat footed.

Ellis and Lawrence know where to be and where to run when Benji is sliding across.

The players yesterday had no idea.

Moltzen defended at centre. As I said earlier in the week, he should not be defending anywhere near there, he simply doesn't have the size, technique, strength or ability to be a good defender.

Everything the Tigers did yesterday was scrappy.

The young forwards, other than Fifita, have all been making dumb mistakes, had poor ball control, been inconsistent defensively and I really think they all need a boot up the date.

If we had a 100% fit side- the roosters would still be a though game...

With the amount of players out and the fact they took 70 minutes to put us away it not a bad result- Plus they had lost back to back games...

I thought Phil Goulds artice was 100% spot on ..

Moltzen is a ball player rather than a ball runner and with his lack of recent game time and the teams overall lack of cohesion and penetration it was only ever going to look ugly.At times they did not even look like the tigers, just one out no decoys or set plays than a turn over or lame kick.

When did this happen? I must have missed the memo...

His best position is in the second row, imo. He can hit a hole, has speed and can offload. Great makings for a second rower in the mold of a Pritchard etc.

Yes being saying this for a while now to my son - Sheens please think about it - You can use Gibbs, Galloway, Woods and now that Payten is getting older & slower he should be considered a prop only - Fifita and Ellis sharing the wide running back rower roll would be very good and then Fulton to come back plus the Shirnack boys they could be something.

Yep. I still think we're one top prop short. Gibbs is best utilised as the modern day lock for mine. Very strong defender, can contribute with good tight hit-ups. The "Gallen" role. He could probably play longer minutes there as well.

Been dissapointed in Keiff. He his the biggest hombre on the park and plays in a skirt alot of the times. He should be leading from the front. Was pushing for an oranges spot a couple years back. What's happened? Dwyer seems to be struggling too. Payto not doing much.

Moltz looked the most dangerous for us. Can't wait til he gets some fitness back.
