Thats right, a win for the Tigers by 24 points or more tomorrow will see us take 8 th spot. The Knights after tonights win sit +24 ahead of us. So i know its a long shot, but its a shot all the same.

Yeah Canberra losing for the second week in a row has been a massive shot in the arm for our hopes, if we can win tomorrow and then not to mention the bye after that things hopefully will be in our hands and not others.

As i posted in the STR forum, a win tomorrow would be good, but if we look at 7th to 11th position AFTER everyone has their byes, it would look like this:

7 - Tigers (24)
8 - Raiders (24)
9 - Cowboys (23)
10 - Knights (22)
11 - Sharks (22)

Well not really because Raiders dont have the bye for a while and the F/A will change, all that the above thing is saying is where we TRULY stand in the top 8.

People can do all the calculations they want - basically we need 28 points to make it. If we do that, then we are almost certainties to get in.

ASSUMING we win tomorrow, and then with the bye, we will move to 24 points.

Then we can afford to drop ONE game out of Broncos, Cowboys and Knights. I dont see us beating the Broncos, but we have a chance against the other two.

Essentially, if we are good enough, then we will make it. And I would also say - if we manage win most of those games under pressure conditions then we DESERVE to make it too.

Well said Mohammed,I think if we beat the Bunnies and then we get the bye,we should be right.Because I think then we can afford to lose 1 game after that either Brisbane or Newcastle and still make the cut. ;-)
