Robert Lui and Robbie Farah were clear standouts as the Tigers trounced the Sharks 36-12.

Tigers 36 (Heighington 2, Farah 2, Galloway, Brown, Moltzen tries, Moltzen 4 goals) def Sharks 12 (Kelly, Gordon tries, Covell 2 goals)

And no injuries.

So many questions:

Are the Roosters really that good this year?

Are the Sharks that bad?

Did Lui get lucky today? Unlucky last week?

Is it a case of exposure to grade paying off?

How did Mullaney go?

Its as simple as the tigers didn't have a go against the rooters- no one put any effort in apart from Flanagan ..... I was at the game it was almost like a spell......

This week we had a go- maybe the sharks didn't turn up this week...wasn't at the game....

I think the only good thing you can take out of trials is no injuries....

Roosters played good tonight for the record haha.
From the Tigers, I could see a lot of improvement. Lui was decent, Moltzen was great. Lawrence was his usual self methinks. Heighington is set for a big year too.

Let me get this straight - Moltzen plays halfback and we win again??? Sounds similiar to last year...

Sheens will no doubt f**k it by the time we play Manly however.

I must be the only one who thought Moltzen was average. Very average. Kicked out on the full in the first couple of minutes, also two knock ons. Did get better as the game went on and scored a nice try though.

Farah and Lui were the standouts, both completely ran the show.

The Sharks were absolutely diabolical though, so its hard to really tell where we are at.

God Dean: Fulton will be in the starting 13.

Forgot about those first few minutes, did look good, as you said, afterwards. I don't know how to put Cronulla, my mother put it best. "It must be embarrasing to be a good player on that team"

They were just terrible. The thing is, they used about 30 players so technically they should have overran us at the end of the game, but we continued to pile on the points.

There is not a single player in that side who I would want in my team. Perhaps Gallen at a stretch, but he's a brain-dead idiot so I would probably pass. Actually I'd probably take Luke Douglas, but that's it. Barrett is also decent, but at the back end of his career.

I can see anyone else beating them to the spoon.

Douglass and Snowden are very good props. I'd have Tupou. Gallen's a merkin, Barrett is good but old. Ferguson is a good young player, the rest are f**king sh*t.

Phil Rothfield from the telegrapgh has them in his top 8!

sorry Dragons fans but I can’t see the red and whites making the top four this year. Why? I don’t think they’ve done enough in recruitment, choosing to sit back while rival clubs were far more active on the player market.
I also think Manly will miss out on the top four.
Join me at 1pm today to discuss the premiership hopes of the Dragons, Sea Eagles, Titans and Sharks.
I look forward to your questions and comments.
Also check out yesterday’s blog where I revealed why the Tigers, Cowboys, Panthers and Broncos won’t make the eight.
My ladder so far is:
5th Manly
6th Dragons
7th Titans
8th Sharks
9th: Cowboys
10th Tigers
11th Panthers
12th Broncos
13th Raiders
14th Roosters
15th Knights
16th Warriors
