Its 3 weeks to the start of the season and the member count is 6386. still 3614 odd short of the target 10,000. I think the marketing department at the tigers have been sitting on thier hands a bit.
Over the last few days, Ive seen ads on foxsports for Carlton AFL, The Dragons RED V promotion and even think I saw one for the storm, all promoting thier 2011 memberships. Ads for The A-League final targeted purely at brisbane residents, but I never see anything from the tigers. I know I live in victoria, but foxsports is a national feed. Do the tigers advertise thier membership packages at all?
When the members pack eventually arrived it wasnt complete. Im not sure, but I think that some members are yet to recieve thier members card. Happy to be corrected on this one. The members logo has the claws missing. Why would you want to have a brand and a logo that is instantly recogniseable, then change a vital part?? Does not make sence to me. It looks like it was forgotten and no one picked up on it untill it was too late.
we have crowds of 14,000 plus, 10,000 members should be a walk up no brainer. Somehow i feel the front office at the tigers is still struggling to connect with its marketplace
