Id love to, but because i am a member, im scared they wont listen to me!
True. I decided not to renew my 'out of towner' membership after they refused to engage with fans over the whole Scott Longmuir debacle. Apparently they need an unaccountable coach more than they need a well engaged supporter base. (I mean, there are ways of doing it without capitulating, if that's the decision you're going with...)

Must be one of the lucky ones - completed everything online 24th January and have received everything in the mail. Got the merchandise pack first, maybe a week after, then got the pass through last week.

With the exception of the 2006 season where membership passes were couriered out beginning the week of the first game I have never had much of an issue

Raiders have been advertising on TV too.

Im still waiting on my members kit, going on 3 months late now, time and again Im told someone will call me back, they never do, they dont give a stuff. They got my money, thats all they want it seems.

Defacing the logo is criminal, the clothing and players gear looks like 80's crap....plenty of offield probs at Concord

Its freaking amateur hour isnt it?

The merchandise this year as part of the Members package is extermely
ordinary... its so bright that it glows in the dark and I agree with the logo - what a joke...

Im seriously thinking of chucking it after this year...

I suppose it gets down to supply and demand, Souths, dogs and chooks all play out of big grounds so supply out strips demand. In our case its the opposite for 8 of our home games. So I would imagine thats why the club are charging so much.

Hey guys Ive been reading all the posts in this thread and I find it really sad that our fans feel this way about our club and the apparent ineffeciency of the marketing department.

I actually worked in the marketing department during the time that Scott Longmuir was General Manager of Sales and Marketing and whilst he was a very intelligent guy I can guarantee that his demise was not purely based aroung trying to hold Tim Sheens accountable.

I actually think that one of the main reasons that our memberships is so high is becasue it froms as a major revenue stream for the club. Obviously we don't have funding such as the other clubs that were mentioned (Souths, Roosters, Penrith, St George and Bulldogs) so we need to generate our money in other areas. The other major problem is that we have too many home grounds which is a real battle for the marketing team to sell.

By no means am I saying our prices aren't too high and the office is a smoothly run machine, becasue it clearly isn't, but there is always two ways to look at something and I think supporters that stop buying their memberships because they are upset with the marketing department are actually hurting the thing that is most important...the boys on the park busting their ass every week!!

Go the Tigers!!

Having 4 home grounds does put it at a disadvantage compared to other clubs. It is disappointing to see other Sydney clubs streak passed us in total member numbers but Tigers still average the highest (or close to it) home crowds most seasons in Sydney.

I got the Stripes non ticketed membership for $60. I know I get the membership kit but really I see it as just a small donation to the club not so much in terms of value for money.

In the NBA I am sure the LA Lakers season tickets cost more than the LA Clippers do. Supply/demand + elasticity of demand too.
