Tim Couch

Does anybody else feel abit sorry for Tim Couch? When he was picked by the Browns in the 1999 draft as the first round pick he had a bad few years with them. Now he gets cut by the packers. I think hes got some potential but just needs a stable enviroment to flourish in. Hope he gets picked up by another team that can allow this to happen.

He will be fine. I feel sorry for Jason Gildon. He is without a doubt the best pass rusher from the strong side backer spot in the NFL and the Bills cut him. I know the Bills LB corps is good, but the guy wouldnt be asking for much of a salary. Does anyone know why they cut him, you may have more of an idea than I do.

Tim couch in pre season was just plan pathetic..he never looked like he knew what he was doing...maybe if he had some time and learned the WCO properly we would of seen something better then what we did see during the pre season.

I agree... judging by all accounts, Tim Couch had a crap preseason, and considering he was meant to be the long term solution to Brett Favre, he didnt exactly set the world on fire...

Might have been ok to keep him, but you cant blame Green Bay for cutting him when they already have Favre and he shows nothing to prove that he might be a good option when he retires.

I agree with that. Even with his seasons as starting qb with the cleveland browns ive never seen him look so uncomfortable on a football field. But i think that if the Packers may of kept him on and around a winning enviroment it would of done him some good, cause he was never going anywhere with the Browns.

Colts are looking at picking him up to back up Peyton (not that there is any need, he hasnt ever missed a snap in regular season football)

Tim Couch will be back... don`t you worry next season someone will come`a callin`, if Packers let Brett Favre retire, we could well see him return. Wait and see though.
