thanks BennyV, let me clarify my thoughts for you.

Agree with Minh that Lafai has been able to get his hands free to offload.

Can't really judge how Lafai is going till the halves create some space for him by either setting the backline deeper so he can run on to the ball at speed, or deliver a ball to him that allows him to run at an angle between defenders rather than at defenders.

Rarely agree with OV, but am open minded enough to listen to what he has to say.

We need to give Lafai the same space that Dugan and Aitken got for their tries. Widdop or Benji need to get it to him quicker.

He has footwork and an offload, there needs to be support sniffing around him.

This is where a guy like Quinlan would have been handy.

I think he's improving the more settled in he becomes but I'd like to see him come in and take some runs to help the forwards like our other backs do and also go looking for opportunities from off - loads etc, he's a bit slack in that area. Milne is in the wings if Lafai doesn't step it up soon.

Lafai is ok. The only way we are going to see him at his best is when the halves can give him early ball. One on one he is good and knows when to pass the ball or when to take the line on

The two young centres i would prefer to him are Milne and Thompson . What i was told about his laziness ..well you have a fair point there as that may or may not be true . For me he should be doing his improving with the Cutters . Don't get me wrong i hope he gets his confidence back after his injuries and becomes the gun centre he was in 2014 but at the moment he is just a shadow of that player.

The two young centres i would prefer to him are Milne and Thompson . What i was told about his laziness ..well you have a fair point there as that may or may not be true . For me he should be doing his improving with the Cutters . Don't get me wrong i hope he gets his confidence back after his injuries and becomes the gun centre he was in 2014 but at the moment he is just a shadow of that player.

Gasnier Mark II would struggle to make a break with the current service being provided by the halves.

The backs stand so flat they are virtually shaking hands with their opposite numbers when the ball reaches them.

I can understand peoples frustration with lafai but I do thing he is improving in his last to games. Get the ball to him quicker and he will continue to get back to his best. I have been at two full training sessions for the nrl squad and he trains as hard as any of them. That is the truth as i payed attention on him and all the new boys closely. He'll come good needs a bit more Agro when attacking

I think he will also improve as his support players get used to what he is doing. Seems to have the ability to stand in a tackle and get an offload. I hate the nighty bashing on here but nighty let him down a couple of times by not coming back inside when the ball was on. Not really nighty's fault. Just centre/winger combos that will get better as they get more accustomed to each others' games.
