Vookie, Saints signed Moltzen in good faith. There is no denying that.
WT told Moltzen to look elsewhere, so he did. There is no denying that.
Moltzen changed his mind, despite signing a contract with another club. There is no denying that.
Afterwards, WT backlipped, several times - all the while breaking convention by holding back the deed of release, effectively stuffing everyone around. There is no denying that.
Do you honestly think that any organisation should go to the trouble of negotiating a contract in good faith, signing it, dealing with the player, his manager and his forumer club; and then commit to that player, set up their 2012 roster, only to be told that the player, his manager and the other club have simply had a change of heart?
Saints also signed the contract, imagine if the tables were reversed.
So here's a question: What if Saints decided to renege on the contract and simply say to Timmy and his manager, "sorry, we changed our mind... don't want you after all."
The Tigers don't want him back, and his future club just changed their mind. Do you think Moltzen would have a case for compensation?
