Point 1. Put him at 7 now

Point 2. If we don't play him, we will lose him.

Point 3 Robert Lui is and will be the better halfback.

I can't see the hatered for Lui. I say it again in my 30 plus years of watching the Tigers he is the best young half I have seen. Yes Moltzen is a good player but Lui is a potential superstar of the NRL.

Moltzen can play other positions and may find another spot but I for one don't think barring injuries he will have a long term spot in the Tigers halves.

Lui made some absolutely woeful errors tonight, including a pass straight into a defenders head which lead to a try. He may be a superstar of the NRL one day, but he has a long way to go.

Just out of curiosity, what is Moltzen's contract status with your lot?

He would f**king waltz into Parra's halves and would do us wonders (hell we can even do a deal with you for Mortimer...)

Frustrating loss tonight for your lads but you'll be back near the top of the ladder soon enough.

Cheers

He will end up fullback ... such a waste, we should have let him go as well as saved our money on Mckinnon and spent the money on a proper number one.

Just as you cannot see the hatred for Lui i can not see the love affair for him..
His passes are floaters just waiting an intercept, he throws it anywhere when he is under pressure, he doesnt like to tackle , he want fall on a lose ball, his kicking game is average , he doesnt believe in ball security and he certainly isnt all that fast ...altho i keep hearing he is:roll:

Anyway thats some things i dont like about his play... I will predict when teams learn his game a little more and pressure him and attack him he will start costing us big time.

If he doesn't get the halfback jumper he will leave anyway is my thinking. Fullback is not his position, and being a junior kangaroo halfback I am sure many other clubs will see him as the playmaker Supercoach does not.

Reminds me alot of the Bronson Harrison situation - Tim could not be told he was a back rower...

Speaking of Bronson Harrison, don't you get the feeling the same will happen with Simon Dwyer.

Devastating second rower/centre through the age groups, Sheens plays them up front.

Looking about six months into the future, and assuming Lui is injured?

Too many are talking Lui up and I can't see why. with Moltzen in the half back role and we are still undefeated. Does Lui have that stat? If one of the two had to leave the club, I'll gladly pack Lui's gear into the cab for him.

I reckon this is a dangerous stat to be throwing around... It will only take one loss to render it completely void. The sooner he plays at half-back again, the sooner this moment will come.

Notwithstanding the above technicality, how many losses will it take before Moltzen is no longer regarded as the golden boy saviour of our club?

Absolutly. I said it last year when he started playing Dwyer as a prop and I see he has continued it this year despite having two other props on the bech he could of used in Payto and Woods.

By the Way I thought Woods looked good in his debut

And yet the players all seem to love the Supercoach - well the ones he allows to play their natural game in their best positions anyway...

What have you seen that the rest of the world apparently has missed?

Hey, Mr Sheens, I would agree with your whole statement if you swapped the names Lui and Moltzen. Moltzen has the thing called 'class' and will be a marquee player and superstar. Watching Lui play is like watching a train wreck in slow motion. He's a lost little boy running around with men.
