Time for a beer

Right, we said a few months ago that we should all catch up for some beers.

Well, I've decided the time has arrived.

Now, it's grand final week next week so I propose we get together the following weekend sometime.

It could be Friday night, Saturday day, Saturday night or Sunday day.

Whoever is keen, let me know when is best and suggest a place or area that would be good. I assume somewhere near or in the city will be best but we'll see.

Ron I expect you to wear your best RATT shirt.

Me, I'm free anytime and anywhere near the city suits.

I live in Crows Nest these days but don't mind travelling a bit, provided I can get there by train.

Chances are i wont be there but i can recommend Scruffy Murphys at Town Hall as the venue for your little get together. It's an Irish pub so you know it's a good place for pizzups, food, and live bands. Heart of the City and close to just about everything. Great place to start the night...

Im out unless its sunday, even then I'd doubt Id be in a decent condition but I would try to make it since I dont really give a rats about this GF, cant decide which bunch of C#$ts to cheer for.

Would love to meet up! i generally work sundays so i'd prefer a Friday night. Plus as i'd travel down i'd have to arrange where to sleep? probably my old mans as he lives in Sandringham.

So what's doing?

I propose a Friday night in, say, two weeks which would be Friday October 12.

I expect Ron to be there, and Carcharias, and SydRaider, SpaceMonkey etc.

Metal will be discussed, beer will be consumed, identities will be revealed and Ian Thorpe is making a shock appearance.

Venues? Well there are a billion great pubs in Newtown, or we could go to Surry Hills. I live in Crows Nest but there's not much doing here in terms of pubs.

Any suggestions are welcome ...

A bit of a shame but it looks like it is going to be very difficult for this get together to happen with people's different working hours etc.

I'm still keen but not sure if there is a time when it can work?

Friday nights work for me - actually most nights work for me because I don't really do much with my life and I don't really have to get up for work at al - but Fridays are always good.

Ok Hev heres the deal, I work a monthly rotating roster which are 12 hr days.

One month I work Mon- Wed

Next month I work Thurs-Sat

Friday nights are not a problem for me either, just as long as it is within the month I am working mon-wed.

I am currently on the thurs-sat roster and will be for another 2 weeks, then im sweet.

Why dont we all hook up for gigantour on the second show friday? :lol:
