Vagans 330k per year. Done nothing! Absolutely nothing. Washed up? probably. Needs to be locked in a room with Ruben Wiki for a week & hope that a sense of commitment, high involvement & enthusiasm rubs off.

Lomu in the 150k range. Had a couple of OK games. Is now now just slightly better than that first game he had for us. Disastrous. Going backwards fast but at least he is not dropping the ball anymore.


Merritt. 60-70k p/year. Live up to the hype!!! Or at least a 1/4 of it FFS!!!
On hsi current involvement rate, we should be expecting a pile of change from him at seasons end. Or he can aim up now, & start CHASING THE FUGGIN BALL EVERYWHERE!!!!!!

If these 3 undeserving members of our squad improve, then we will be a much better chance over the next few weeks.

I totally agree about Vagana, Lomu and Merritt. I am certainly not prepared to say that Raper has done an "outstanding job" just yet. I think we can best assess that at the end of the season.

I think Merritt has showed signs of getting better in the last couple of weeks. However Vagana last week had a shocker. Lomu has had more than a couple of goods games. But maybe he wasn't that good in the first place?
