The Western Sydney Panthers is the future of Rugby League. Hence why Parramatta and Wests must find a new home or removed from the competition entirely.

Of course they don't go, the place is a catastrophe. I mean fair dinkum you have to have some serious spare time on your hands to bother turning up to watch the Tigers these days.

For a start, they need players and ex-players doing a door to door knock drive and put forward their appeal for fans to join the club, and throw in a couple of family tickets to their games. They need to consistently have games in Campbelltown to give fans the notion that they are not being treated like an afterthought by always playing out of L.O. and Parra Park.

They need to do the hard yards to attract fans, or they'll be simply wasting their time.

I think it has to be cats to truly signify a merger. Colour can be predominantly black.

Instead of the Magpies and the Tigers, the Magpies perhaps should have merged with Penrith. The colours are pretty similar and it would have made more sense geographically. Canterbury could have taken a portion of the south west as well.

Balmain could have relocated somewhere. Maybe join up with the Tigers in Brisbane or go to Perth.

Anyway, it is too late now but maybe forcing Sydney teams to merge wasn’t a good idea. It might have been better to relocate 3 or 4 instead.

They could still fix the club but they need a clear direction - what area are they really representing? what type of club are they -are they going to be a development club and find the best under 18’s in the area or around the country etc or a club that essentially recruits ready made players?
