tipping this season

Well what can I say? I had a shocker of a season with my tips!
Many round upsets I never sore coming, especially with the Broncos losing streak...I usually tip them every week (unless playing the knights).

So how is that wooden spoon looking? Think it may just be coming my way :?

Very very crap!!! 28th out of 53 people after the 26 rounds. I finished on 215 points in a comp where you get 2 for a win, 1 for a draw not tipped, 5 if you tip a draw, and 1 bonus point for a perfect round

Hmmm, just worked out that I only had 4 correct tips on average per round. That's terrible.

i stopped handing in my tips about 6 weeks ago lol.. I was going absolutely pathetic, my theory is, those who know anything about rugby league are crap tipsters, people who know jack shit are the ones that do good :lol:

A major competition was won last year on the basis that the person tipped based on the animal the team had as their mascot.

Shark would beat a Rooster
Rooster would beat and Eel
Knight would beat a Dragon etc

The winner of ninemsn's comp this year only came back to Australia a few months prior to the season starting and based his tips on watching a couple of games each week.

You'll often find that picking nice colours is also a successful way to tip - throw out the expert advice, just pick based on mascot, colour, or which players you think are spunky.

Suffice to say I stopped tipping after round 6 or 7 - just forgot to tip one week and from there on decided to forget about the whole thing - I'll go back and find out how I went just for a laugh though.

i had a shocker....the best i did was last week with 6/7...dragqueens let me down.......i always tip the knights regardless....but heres hoping next year brings better things

i thought i had a shocker, but i got 99 out of about 99000 on the nrl site, and i missed tipping about 4 or 5 weeks cause of my sister, whats worse is i only lost by about 6 wins
