Sydney Race 6 No. 1 Walk Alone. Great record and is in great form right now. Drawn well with Beadman on board so should be put into the right spot to win. Will go well.

Sydney Race 7 No. 9 Racing To Win. Quality horse. Could be the best horse in Sydney. Yes, including Paratroopers and Eremein. Needs to step up and carry weight if he wants to win these races. Drawn good and Michael Rodd is a good jockey. Follow through the spring.

Sydney race 8 No. 3 Gallant Tess. From reports trialled sensationally. I blackbooked this horse in the Autumn after her Fernhill win and Champagne placing. Would have backed her later in the campaign but the trial has made me jump on now. Good solid each way bet.

Brisbane Race 7 No. 9 Rasmussen. Up and coming star. Blackbooked since it's debut. Drawn poorly but should have enough class to come through.

Melbourne Race 2 No. 5 Industrious. Good race. I'm going with the Hayes/Williams combination. Looks a good horse and should be good odds tomorrow.

Melbourne Race 4 No. 9 Global Reign. Was going well in alot easier races before spelling. Drawn well and should lead and prove hard to run down.

Melbourne Race 6 No. 12 Illusionist. Back to 1000m and Moonee Valley suits this horse perfectly. Good run last start when battled well. I'll stick with her.

Not so much a tip, but i've got a share in onbe running around in the last at the Valley today called Fanfares. Problem is she's drawn 13 which isn't great at any track, but at the Valley makes it that little bit harder. The trainer (Mick Price) said she's been working very well and happy with her so we'll just wait and see. She's also untried in the softer ground but it's meant to be a nice day here so hopefully it'll firm it up a little.

Anyway i've probably given her more minuses than plusses  but i'm not one to come out and tell anyone just what they want to hear. I never try and sway anybody either way, all i do is tell them what the trainer said and how she's going and i leave it up to the person to decide. Like i said she's been training very well and she can certainly win it, but she'll have to get over the things i mentioned. Mick does have bigger plans for her and he just wants to get her back today and see how she goes and decide which path to take.

While she may not be up there with the top liners as 99% of horses aren't, she showed she's pretty smart in here first prep last year (3 wins from 4 starts) and we're expecting her to win more in here second prep. So i'll keep you informed in the Spring on where and how she's going and hopefully line the pockets.

Oh and if she comes nowhere please be gentle on me
