Tips for 4/2/06

After collecting a tidy profit from my parlay last night, i thought i should have another go at one

so in Sydney i'm taking
Race 1 No. 3 Natural Destiny. will get goodish odds about this horse as Beauty Watch will be backed strong. it's won 4 out of 5 and beating pretty good horses
Race 2 No. 5 Crums. wasn't happy with the ride last start, and i think he'l learn from that especially with a 6 horse field. will settle much closer so the slow pace wont worry it too much. it's bred to be a 2400m horse so it's still warming up
Race 4 No. 1 All Black Gold. good first up win. on debut was a full second quicker than No. 2's win and carried more weight. a repeat performance will see it winning
and I'll be adding another leg but have no idea what yet

in melbourne i'm taking another 4 leg parlay

race 1 no.4 watsons bay. i backed it's debut run and it was on the pace in a race suited to swoopers. only beaten 1.8L. will be much better this time in
race 2 no. 8 king's champ. working his way up the classes. there's a couple of good horses in the line-up but they're either getting past it or will need the run
race 6 no. 4 stickpin. i've changed my bet. going through the form, i think stickpin is a massive chance. finished 7L behind california dane in a great form race. then won it's next 2 starts and i think will be a quality horse
race 8 no. 2 candy vale. bet of the day. one of the best mares in the country. she should win tomorrow on the way to some of the better mares middle distance races in the autumn.

e/w bet on Jet Spur. loved how it carried 60kg in the spring to win in good time. and yes i do know that queen of the hill should have won that race, i did have money on her, but he was carrying 5.5kg more and i think will be better now that he's matured

I like 2 at Flemington but i'm not sure if they'll be likeable odds.
Should be winning though.

Race 6 - Stickpin ($2.75 on Fixed Odds).

well i collected off the sydney parlay
and lets not talk about the melb parlay

ended up a great day on the punt. topped my TAB a/c up with my winnings

i picked a couple of $10 winners at newcastle, that country vic track and coonabarabran or however you spell it

after the shocking ride from Bossy last start, i was stoked to see Beadman just 3 lengths off the lead for the trip
a massive difference having Beadman give the horse a beautiful run and to be honest, i was never worried about losing the race


and the other parlay leg i took in sydney was more than lucky in race 5. that's why i got a good collect off my sydney parlay

Picked up $91 for a dollar.
