THE Gold Coast Titans have been rocked by another Mad Monday scandal following the arrest of one of their young players.
It follows the revelations and video footage of superstar Jarryd Hayne in the company of Gold Coast bikie Chris Bloomfield last weekend.
The player involved this time is rookie Karl Lawton who debuted in the NRL in round 17 against the Warriors but dislocated and fractured his ankle.
“We are aware of the incident,” said a Titans spokesman.
“As far as we know this was a family domestic matter between two males.
“As it is now a police matter the club will be making no further comment.”
