Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't we flog the Panthers a few years ago in a pre-season trial but they then went on to win the Premiership?
And also guess what sides has lost the most trials in the last 5yrs.
#Panthers

He's probably had a disrupted pre-season and is behind on his conditioning.
Because they are shit. And also guess what sides has lost the most trials in the last 5yrs.

Most clubs play their top players in one trial. Playing 4 World club challenge matches , essentially Penrith used that as a trial for their top players.
Meaning the other trials they are playing their 2nd tier players mostly..
So understandable they win the least trials in this period

Fair point. Who hasn’t cracked one off over Ryles?
He’s worked with some impressive coaches. I underestimated him. He’s one of the best young coaches in the game.He really seems to be an impressive man.
Every time he speaks, he seems calm, confident in control.
Not to say Brad Arthur wasn't - but Ryles is just so impressive, especially when you factor in that he's a rookie.

That's the LU equivalent of holy water to keep the forum demon away lol
The fact BA keeps missing out on NRL gigs tells you everything. People actually inside the game clearly know far more about his shortcomings as a coach and mentor than any of us — especially the delusional forum diehards still pretending he’s elite.I don't want to unnecessarily criticise Brad Arthur.
I was no fan of his, but he did some things well - he galvanised our club at a crucial point in our history, he managed to attract some very good players, and he took us to a Grand Final.
But the professionalism standard that Jason Ryles has seemingly set is miles above that which Arthur set - I mean that as a compliment to Ryles, and not a dig at Arthur.
