I miss pre Hogan TNA.

I miss Knockout matches with Awesome Kong and Hamada that actually kick ass.

If I want soft core porn I can watch Disney.

TNA also has a new show debuting this week called Reaction.

A very promoriffic show that's used to hype up the coming PPV/TV Show.

Doesn't look too bad actually.

I watched the preview too it earlier. Nicely blurs the lines between kayfabe and real life, and it's a good way to promote their angles without clogging up Impact too much. Nice initiative.

Really looking forward to catching Impact this week. Seen the spoilers and there's nothing cringeworthy in there and it actually looks very wrestling heavy, which is interesting considering the volcanic effected Raw only has 5 minutes of wrestling in the first hour.

For the wrestling fans who haven't seen the spoilers. A spoiler free listing.

RVD V Hardy - Winner faces AJ in main event (10+ minute match worth watching)
Beautiful People V ODB/Daffney

Lethal Lockdown Rematch: Team Flair Vs Jarrett/Abyss and 2 mystery partners.

Aj Styles V Winner of Hardy/RVD

That's a great line up for a Tv episode. Only four matches, but they were given time to work a proper match, and most if not all of the backstage segments actually related to what was going on in the ring.

I hope it comes off as well on TV as it does from the spoilers. Only time will tell, but this could be a big step in the right direction.

Fantastic edition of Impact. A few shoddy moments, as per usual, but one of the mystery partners is awesome and the Hardy/RVD/Styles stuff is all gold.

A few negatives to the show, but they werent overly bad, just little stuff ups from doing good things. F**KING LOVED the suprise partner, and the crowd's reaction. That's how you f**king book said partner!

Would have preferred the title match to have been built better i.e. RVD v Jeff next week, the winner to have the title match at Sacrifice, AJ wins by screwjob, KOTM at Slammiversary and the return match at either the next ppv or BFG in Ultimate X. But, they did what they did and it was entertaining as hell.

Lacked X Division, I would have had Kazarian come down with a new belt and face a challenger every week until Sacrifice, and after he wins a match at Sacrifice have Williams come down and assault him post match, accuse of him of being a paper champ, leading to a huge match at Slammiversary - Kaz to go over ofcourse.

More Guns, Generation Me.

Was a very good episode though. Enjoyed it heaps.

On another note, havnt been updating thediary of late, still working on it though! Also planning on reviewing every TNA 3hr pay per view ever in either a column or podcast. Should be fun, I'm not gonna do the whole youtube elitest shoot sh*t, rather just a light hearted look at the events, beginning Victory Road 2004.

I think they need more than 36 hours to make a new belt, since the old one is still in merry olde England.

As for Kaz going over, I think Williams is a far more complete package and a better worker to boot.

They tried but there was issues over how much money london wanted.

Flair is awesome. His promo at the PPV was classic - "Jarrett?!?! JARRETT?!?! I GOT STING! STING! WOOO STING!" haha

Agree on the Williams comment.

I'm interested to know if Williams was scheduled to lose or not had he been able to attend.

Wouldn't mind it if they didn't make another belt, have Williams cut a promo saying that Kazarian might be the champion, but he has the belt and never lost it etc, leading up to a genuine Kaz V Williams X-Division title match that would have a pretty fair build up to it.

The circumstances might have sucked for Williams, but they can adapt it into a workable program that would benefit both Williams and Kazarian as well as the X-Division as a whole.

Keep him out of the ring, but he's still gold on the mic. Small doses for sure, but gold nonetheless.

Impact up to a recent high of 1.0 in the initial ratings announcement. I'll post a break-down as soon as it's up.

Excellent result for them. It was a fine show up against a pretty ordinary (through circumstance) Raw - but it's a start.
