2002 - Roosters only win cause the bulldogs get punished for dooing the exact same thing they did, cept they got caught earlier...

2003 - Roosters eye gauge the other teams star player and they still lose

This is truly a glorious night for rugby league :D

Sattler had a great game, which is good cause he is going to the Tigers and I dont expect to see them winning next year, but you never know after this year. In conclusion, a happy ending to a crappy year!

Another typical Rooster's disappearing act - not only do their fans go in and out of hiding depending on their team's success, their number one media man - their numero uno fan - leaves the commentary post-match.

I'll bet that if they had won we would have had his melon all over the television set - where did he go? I'm not complaining about not seeing his face on my t.v, but it makes me question whether his constant jibbering about anything and everything he can think of is benefiting the game at all - I just think it only fuels the Roosters' ego.

Yeah I noticed, it was a pity we didnt get to hear him making excuses, but that only leaves open a tipping competition, what will it be this time???

Being at the game last night (and severly lacking in sleep this weekend), I can say that the Roosters fans brought nothing but disgrace to themselves last night. Brash and cocky like their proud emblem before the game, sad and pathetic like the weather after the game. It was funny, but it was hard to not shake your head at their efforts. Believe me, if they had a tattoo parlour at the game, they would've had the 2003 premiership etched into their arse during Meatloaf's performance.

 I have no sympathy for them. If they acted like it was a contest and approached the game without the usual Roosters arrogance I may have had some sympathy for them losing at the last barrier - but rarely do you find a Roosters fan that doesn't carrying with him/her an excessively large ego - there are some out there, but few and far between.

Some words of wisdom for Roosters fans this morning:

"Big egos are big shields for lots of empty space."
- Diana Black

"Avoid having your ego so close to your position that when your position falls, your ego goes with it."
- Colin Powell

"When one find's oneself in a hole of one's own making, it is a good time to examine the quality of the workmanship."
- John Renmerde

the goosters fans were so cocky and confident as were the team and i quote hodges saying that the next time he will be playing will be in the world club championship
one rooster fan sitting near me even started yelling and fighting with other roosters fans cos they werent cheering! hehe nice to see they treat their fellow supporters nicely ;-)
the funniest thing of the night was that when all the roosters fans left the stadium still looked VERY full!
