Mate, cowardice. Locka\ a topic before it kicks off. Being a Manly fan i have no drama with anything the Roosters have done. There is no point languishing. If you cant drag players out of youre local sides that can get the job done you have to go shopping. I have no problems with that. I would rather be a strong side full of imports than a crap side made up of players that came through Bondi United or Paddington colts.
I just made the point that easts(as i still call tem and i am sure you appreciate) will more than likely lose half a million dollars worth of players going in to 05. Now this is not a slight on these players. They are have both played at every level of the game. ! is the absolute epitimy of a junior, came through the ranks from a local side and is even the son of one of a playr that came throgh your ranks. The Other an absolute champion of the game, and while he may not have been one of your juniors he managed to captain NSW and Australia from your club and hs done you proud but the simple fact is the cant play forever and when they do give it away it frees up a lot of money in the cap. Something Easts have complained about.

The trouble with this is, it has kicked off so many times and has invariably ended up denigrating into another pointless thread where all and sundry take out their frustations in life on us. We then have to sit here moderating the threads to ensure that nothing libellous etc is written. It becomes tiresome after a while and, as previously stated, has been done to death. Whats the point of bringing it up again?

Again, it's just asking for a denigration into Rooster bashing about juniors and has been done to death. Maybe it was the way you initially brought the issue of poaching in. You go from making insinuations that we are poachers to trying to justify it with less agressive terms here. Maybe you should go to the NRL forum and add your opinions to any one of the threads there covering these topics.

Your point, as you call it, appears just another attempt at stirring. At this present point of time it is pure speculation that Hodges will not be playing with us next year - he has another three years on his contract. As does Morley. All you seem to be doing is buying into the media frenzy and adding to the hype. Until the club makes any official announcement stating otherwise, including these two players in your original statement is pure stirring.

So, call me a coward and believe it as you want, just as I will believe that you were attempting to shit stir. Thats the beauty of internet forums. All opinions are open to interpretation.
