Yes, it has become a bit of a joke too judging by the teams named. Don't know how true it is but aparently City had to delay their announcment because they couldn't find enough players.

Potter opted for youth over Uate and Radradra has his court case but no word on Bukuya and RCG who wasn't named in any rep sides.

Sims is from The nsw south coast people, if you want to allow nation swapping at will, don't get angry when players pick and choose which rep teams they want to represent.

You've answered why people are blowing up..city v country is the most pointless game of the year,the islands named their teams days ago..and now players are being pulled out of those squads because city & country can't raise decent teams..

And as I've just told you on Twitter what Australia have done to tonga is a real merkin move,it's unsettling that tier 1 nations get 1st pick as it is but to then snatch a player back that they didn't select in the 1st place is bang out of order..

That rule needs amending cos you should not be allowed to raid tier 2 squads once they been selected...if that means tier 1 nations select 24man squads,so there's ample cover,for 1 off games then so be it....at least we won't get the nonsense that's happened the last few days

Sorry but fifitas australian born and raised. It's up to him. I'm sure if he felt strong enough about his tongan heritage no one would make him play for Australia if he didn't want to.

You'd have to think fifita would be in a larger 24-25 man Australia RLWC squad though..

I've not got a problem with him playing for either team under the new rules,..it's just the way it's happened in this instance that's not right imo
