Pardon my ignorance... but do you get something if you finish as "minor premier" in the Super League?

Obviously, in the NRL you get the JJ Giltinan Shield and a handful of beads...

Yep, if you finish top of the table you are known as League Winners - St Helens is still srpuiking that fact on their website, despite being beaten by leeds in the Grand Final. But it's very much a point of pride, stemming from the days when there were no finals and it was first past the post.

As for the table, it's less of a three horse race than it looked last week, with the Wigan victory...

The NRL minor premiers used to get $100,000...pretty sure it is still the case.

It should be a bigger deal, and then making those who do the double (or triple in the ESL with the CC) get a bigger bonus and kudos.
